The Sans house was the first building that we designed that is attached directly to the mountain, in that the roof is integrated into and forms a part of the mountain itself. The lot has a very rough topography, to the point where it is almost inaccessible. The few flat spaces that were created from the placement of the first room have been used as a location for the pool and access paths. The largest flat surface is the roof itself. In spite of all these difficulties, the house is completely functional, with very good orientation and with unbeatable views of the Barcelonès area with the sea in the background.
